Estimation on how many chips that can be fabricated on 1” and 12” wafer.

Given a typical chip is of the size of 1cm x 1cm square, and two wafers of the size 1” and 12” respectively with the assumption of wafer is in round shape. Estimate how many chips that can be fabricated on 1” and 12” wafer.

 

This is only applicable for chip of the size 1cm x 1cm which how the come into the picture.
